In 2021, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) released ISO 45003:2021, 'Psychological Health and Safety at Work: Guidelines for Managing Psychosocial Risks.' The National Standardization Administration of China adopted it as a national recommended standard, GB/T 45003-2024, on March 15, 2024. Prior to this, there was no standard specifically designed to address and manage psychological health risks at work, particularly those arising from the inability to handle various types of stress. ISO 45003 was developed to fill this gap.
